Just a mini update. We're getting new members and artwork added slowly. Thanks for all your patience ( and fantastic artwork )!

Actually the reason we're updating is that Disney has given us what we've wanted these past 16 years.....an official Disney Belle-Beast kiss.

It's part of the "Mistletoe Series" collectors pins from the Disney Store. Unfortunately the URL is too long for DeviantArt to accept as a valid link. So just click here [link] and search for Mistletoe Series.

It's a lovely cloisonné pin and I can vouch for how lovely it is in person. It's a limited edition of 250 so I thought our members would like to know.

Welcome to all our new members!!!!


01-02-2008 We still have a pile of notes to go through and 1000+ deviations on our watch list to look at, grab the BatB ones, and post them. So as you can imagine, we're busy!!!


The update is that there is no update! Phew! Life happens, we're behind. We're adding stuff so we know people will be dropping in and reading our latest entry. My sister and I are working on submissions and we have a moderator going through deviations and notes.

Notes about submissions will not get responded to, just submitted

Notes to join will probably be responded to en mass. Sorry about that. We used to send a personal little note to each member but the work is pilling up on us. We know you're here to see Beauty and the Beast fan art, not get a random note form someone you've never met. So for now we're dispensing with all the formalities and just giving you what you want! FanArt!

Don't forget our latest and greatest project: FANDOM 100!

I'm sure most of you are familiar with the idea. 100 keywords are chosen and then a drawing is done from inspiration of each keyword. Each member can wander in and look over the list and then note us, or make a comment, with the number they would like to sign up for. I'd like to clear out the scraps as best I can and then make that our temporary "BatB FanArt 100" Gallery.

It would be quite the accomplishment. I think it would also be nice for members who might be stuck in a rut or drawing a blank (pun intended) for ideas.

Although there isn't any real deadline we do have enough members now to make this a fairly successful project! Yay! The world be be a little better 100 BatB drawings from now

This club's purpose is to showcase art related to Disney's Beauty and the Beast and to meet and greet fellow BatB fans! Although we do fave any Beauty and the Beast themed work, disney or not.

Most other BatB clubs on deviant art aren't active at all.....so I created a new one. You don't have to be a die hard fan to join! The point is to share your BatB artwork with people who want to see it. We get to see your art, and you get your icon listed on our front page and maybe some more traffic your way! We won't bug you to put up our icon on your front page or in your signature. We won't even nag you to join in on contests if you don't want to! We're low maintenance!

**One trick ponies may also apply! If you have only one piece of BatB fanart, but want to get it added to the gallery note us. You don't need to watch us or actively participate to get a little exposure.

**You don't even need to be a DeviantArt member to participate. Just email us and give us permission to post you work, along with whatever guidelines, links, or limitations on use and we'd be happy to get the word out about your art. We can disallow comments, or allow them. It's up to you how you'd like it displayed and controlled.
